Grapes sourced from Foletta Family Vineyard located in Benalla, North East of Victoria. The mild climate here make the grape harvesting 2-3 weeks later than the around areas,allows the development of abundant fruity flavors. Relatively low rainfall in 2016 produce the more intense wines.

Grapes are hand harvest, crushed and de-stemmed, fermented in open tank with wild and cultured yeast for 10-12 days, wine matured in tank and french oak for 8 mths, then blend with 10% Shiraz wines from Goulburn Valley, further maturation and stabilization for 4 months. Filtrated before bottling. Wine bottled in April 2017.

It will develop more complex flavors with age and your patience is to be awarded. Drink to 2023.

Roast lamb, grilled steaks and ribs etc. could be an ideal match.
